The ushers of the Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, H.B. Lewis Road, Clinton, will celebrate their anniversary Sunday, Aug. 18, at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Wilson, choir and congregation of Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church. All ushers of the Clinton area are invited to come out and help the church celebrate this special event.
The Kingdom Building Baptist Church, 6200 High House Road, Salemburg, will celebrate the 27th anniversary of its pastor — and the 45 years of ministry — of their pastor, the Rev. Dr. Rudolph Tripp beginning Saturday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. with the anniversary banquet. The is a charge. Then on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m., there will be a sermon by the Rev. Pauline J. Moores Disciples Church of Fayetteville will have a service Saturday night, Aug. 24, beginning at 6 p.m. The guest will be Bishop Larry Mosson and others. I will tell you more details about this event next week. The host pastor is Elder Bobby Williams and First Lady Freda Williams.
The Women’s Home Mission annual program will be held Sunday, Aug. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Union Star Free Will Baptist Church, Clinton. The guest preacher will be Evangelist Bert Smith, associate minister of the Rainbow Baptist Church accompanied by her choir. All are invited. The host pastor is Bishop James Leftdwrige.
The Rev. Willie Bryant and the Saint Jude Church, Clinton, will have youth service Sunday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. The Youth Department will sponsor the service and guest speaker will be the Rev. Bob Roger.

The members of Little Piney Grove will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of their pastor, the Rev. Harold Jr. Boykin, Sunday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. Guest pastor will be the Rev. Elbert Fowler and New Hope choir and congregation. Dinner will follow the morning message, and at 3 p.m., the Rev. Bobby Williams, choir and congregation of Moore’s Chapel will be in charge.
The Friendly Trio, along with the Church Association, will be giving out food bags Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The Friendly Trio will host a musical Gospel Train service Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Friendly Community Center, North Hanson Road, Clinton. The theme is Serving the Lord. On the program will be the McNeils, inspirational words by Pastor Alice Barnes of Fayetteville, The Redeemed Gospel Singers, the New Hope Singers, the Wilson Harmonettes and more.
