Join us for ‘Sampson Perspective’ Tuesday

Janna Bass Chamber director

August 21, 2013

The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce strives to serve as a voice for our membership and the local community. As the vehicle to reach our local, state, and national representation, the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first “Sampson Perspective” on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m. Located in Room O-140 at Sampson Community College, the Chamber strives to provide an avenue for the community to ask the most pressing questions to our leaders.

Throughout the past few years, the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce has hosted round table discussions with the county’s leaders and representation. However, it was quickly realized that an avenue for Chamber members and the local community to ask questions to our leaders was needed. The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce goal for “Sampson Perspective” is twofold — to continue to grow and cultivate these relationships as well as provide the Chamber’s membership and community the opportunity to inquire about the issues that impact the businesses and organizations on a daily basis.

Sitting on this year’s Sampson County Executive Leadership Panel: Congressman Mike McIntyre, Senator Brent Jackson, Representative Bell, Representative Brisson, County Manager Ed Causey, City of Clinton Interim City Manager and Finance Director Shawn Purvis, and Director of Sampson Planning and Zoning Mary Rose.

We encourage you take advantage of this opportunity by collaborating with business owners from throughout Sampson County and asking those questions that impact you every day to our representatives and leaders. We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday, Aug. 27, 5:30 p.m., at Sampson Community College.
