With the rain falling on the field, Union hosted East Bladen on Wednesday and came away with a disappointing 4-1 loss.

The Spartans just couldn’t seem to get their game together. The Eagles seemed to have an answer for every Spartan move.

Union’s Cesar Ocampo scored the Spartan’s only goal from an assist by Arcenio Najera.

“Well, I’m disappointed, because all of the things that we normally do right, we just didn’t do. Not to take away at all from East Bladen’s effort, because when they came out, they were on a mission. They saw what our weaknesses were, they capitalized on it, and we didn’t make any adjustments on the field. When that happens you lose games, and that’s pretty much it for tonight,” expressed Union head coach David Ameen.

Union is now 5-3-1 overall, and 2-3 in the conference. They travel into Raider Country on Monday for their next game.
