Playing Midway for the first time ever, Clinton JV football took home a massive 62-8 win.

Albert Deaver scored the first two touchdowns of the night, one for a 70 yard rush and the second for a 30 yard rush. Getting the ball in his hands, Raheem Skinner scored not once, not twice, but three times in a row. Tyon Wright and RayQuan Faison both scored two 2-point conversions, Clinton was raising their score as quickly as possible.

Midway managed to squeeze into the end zone for a TD and then again for the 2-point conversion for 8 points.

This didn’t stop Clinton from heading back to the Raider red zone. Kavon Dessus took the ball from the kick-off return and ran it to the end zone, scoring a touchdown. The score was 44-8 by halftime.

Dre Oates then took the ball for a 40 yard rush touchdown making the score 50-8. Right after him came RayQuan Faison with a 10 yard touchdown.

With L.J. Farrior on a fumble recovery, Farrior scored the final touchdown of the night.

The Dark Horse junior varsity is now 3-0 in their conference earning them first place.

“Both offense and defense played great tonight, I was really proud. It was the first time we ever played Midway and we beat them so it was a great win,” stated head coach Mike Bell.

Clinton JV will host Union next Thursday, October 17, at 6:30 p.m.
