‘Crimes’ enters final weekend Friday

Clay Boney, as Doc, and Kathy Day as Chick in a scene from Sampson Community Theatre’s latest production ‘Crimes of the Heart,’ which begins its final weekend this Friday. The drama/comedy was written by By Beth Henley and is being directed for the SCT stage by Sampson’s Justin Lockamy. The play concerns the reunited Magrath sisters as they wrestle with past regrets and the fact that the youngest, Babe, shot her husband. Final performance dates are: Oct. 18-19 at 8 p.m., with matinees on Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the theater, 115 Fayetteville St., Clinton. Call 910-592-8653 for more information.
