JV Dark Horses keep No. 1 title after W.B. win

Playing at the home of the West Bladen Knights, Clinton High School’s JV football team brought home another big win with a final score of 57-16.

The Dark Horses crossed into the end zone first when Raheem Skinner scored Clinton’s first TD. With over 100 yards rushing, RayQuan Faison had 2 touchdowns on the night and Jaleen Best scored one touchdown. Tyon Wright had a 75 yard TD with over 100 yards rushing. Tyion Wright also provided two touchdown passes to Kavon Dessus. Nick Blount provided 1 extra point for the Dark Horses and Jaquan McClean had one 2-point conversion.

“We are still getting better and I thought we played well tonight. We are first place in our conference and we only have two games left,” stated Clinton head coach Michael Bell.

Clinton will play Thursday, October 31, at home against Trask High School.
