Roseboro mayor David Alexander recognized former town commissioner Roland Hall for his longtime service to Roseboro during this week’s town meeting. As he presented Hall with a clock, a nod to Hall getting a clock placed in front of town hall, Alexander shared that Hall was ‘like a member of public works,’ always doing what he could to help take care of Roseboro. Alexander added that he hoped to find a new commissioner that was as good as Hall had been. Hall thanked the mayor, the town board, Roseboro citizens, and his wife for their support and for allowing him the opportunity to serve, calling it ‘an honor.’ Hall has been a member of the town board since 1993 and served as mayor from 2008-11.
