Hobbton hosted the Rosewood Eagles Friday evening and were defeated 14-3.

Coach Morgan Farroll of Hobbton said, “Caitlyn Stegal pitched a complete game giving up 8 earned runs off 16 hits. We played well tonight leading in the 2nd and gave up the lead in the 5th. The ladies took advantage tonight and played hard, but the 5th and 6th inning hurt us giving up 9 runs between the two innings; 4 being earned. We stayed in the game and played hard. We never gave up. Rosewood is a good team and will do well in post season play.”

For the Wildcats, Hannah Warren had a walk, hit by a pitch, 1 stolen base and 1 run. Makenzie Williams had 1 walk and 1 stolen base. Megan Parker was hit by 2 pitches. Anna Rose was walked twice and score once. Caitlyn Stegal was 1-4 with a double and 1 run.

The Wildcats are 3-8 on the season and play again May 1, after the Easter break.
