Donna J. Honeycutt
ROSEBORO — Ms. Donna Jean Honeycutt, 55, of 1853 Huntley School Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Tew Family Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Dixon officiating.
Born in 1957 in Sampson County, Mrs. Honeycutt was the daughter of the late Claudia Beaman Honeycutt. She was the former owner and operator of Main Street Grill in Wade.
She is survived by her mother, Geranium Tew of Roseboro; sister, Cathy Patterson and husband, Gary of Mooresville; brother, Richard Keith Honeycutt and wife, Yvonne of Salemburg; two nieces, Angela Patterson and Tiffany Basden, both of Mooresville; two nephews, Aaron Honeycutt of Roseboro and David Eldridge of Mt. Olive; two great nieces, MacKenzie Basden and Makayla Basden, both of Mooresville and a special pet, Elvis.
She had some of the best friends you could ever want, Kay Beard, Mary Alice Ortiz, Kay McLamb, Sherry Morris, Cindy Hutchinson and others.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 1809 Huntley School Road, Roseboro.
The family has asked that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B Wells Drive, Greenville, NC 27834 or Sampson County Friends for Animals, P.O. Box 1, Clinton, NC 28329.
