Robert A. Jacobs, 68

CLINTON — Mr. Robert “Bobby” Allen Jacobs, 68, of Jacob West Lane, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Cromartie Miller and Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Page, Pastor Pedro Bueno and the Rev. Johnny Peterson officiating.

Mr. Jacobs was born Jan. 27, 1945 in Harnett County the son of the late Theodore Rosevelt Jacobs and Mable Agnes Temple Jacobs and is preceded in death by an infant child, Robert Allen Jacobs, Jr. and a brother, T.R. Jacobs. He was employed with Barnhill Contracting Co.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Jackson Jacobs of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Guerrero and husband Jose of Clinton and Jennifer Hardison and husband Chris of Dunn; a brother, Sidney Jacobs and wife Tonya of Ohio; two sisters, Marie Stover and Rebecca Malone and (husband) Mike, both of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Becky Jacobs of Troy, Ohio and Faye Reid of Linden, N.C.; four grandchildren, Austin Hardison, Harley Hardison, Manny Guerrero and Gabby Guerrero; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Cromartie Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn, prior to the service.
