Erica Faircloth’s kindergarten class from L.C. Kerr School made penguins using water bottles as a follow up to the story ‘If you lived in Antarctica.’ Student’s learned about different animals that lived in Antarctica as well as facts about the continents, the weather in Antarctica and they also used a globe to show where Antarctica was located. The students also participated in a penguin race by placing a ball between their feet and waddling like a penguin.
