Malachi 3:6 says “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
My focus this week in this verse is the part where God says “I change not.” That’s got to be encouraging to Christians to know that God does not change, in spite of our situations. Whatever you are dealing with right now has not for one second frightened the Lord God almighty.
Even though you’re facing a difficult matter today, the same God that brought you through yesterday is the same God of today. In other word,s saints of God, If he did it before, he’ll do it again; same God right now, same God back then.
Oh you have got to believe that Jesus is working this thing out for your good. Hold on to what God did for you in the past and know that through this verse he is still the same. If God changes not, then his promises for you has not changed — isn’t that something to shout about?
If he said “you are healed,” then walk in your healing by faith; if he said “you are head and not the tail,” then walk as the head by faith. If he said “you are blessed” then walk and talk like you are blessed by faith. God is still in charge of your life in spite of what the Devil has tried to tell you through these difficult times. God is still able to do what he has promised you he would do.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and just know that in spite of all the many changes that’s happening in your life, God is still there and he hasn’t changed.
Jesus knows all about this situation that you are dealing with, and not only does he know he’s is going to come on the scene and show you how awesome his power is.
