Students touted for reaching success
In association with the Read Across America Initiative, Catherine Ruiz from the Sampson-Clinton Association of Educators recognized eight elementary students for their improvements in reading during the Sampson County Schools Board of Education meeting in February. The students, who each received a Dr. Seuss book, were selected by their school media specialist for outstanding and noticeable reading achievements.
