On March 2, Roseboro Salemburg held their annual Thomas R. Sessoms Scholarship Pageant. This pageant is held in memory of Thomas Sessoms, a former teacher, who dedicated his life to teaching. Sessoms passed away from cancer in November of 2009. Funds from this pageant go to fund scholarships given to a male and female Lakewood High School student.
Randy Wood, former R-S teacher, was the Master of Ceremonies and provided a short comedic stand up performance during intermission.
Contestants included Madison Tart, Madyson Sessoms, Brook Millen, Emily Fitcher, Estrella Davila, Randi Autry, Kayla Matthews, Tyler Hobbs and Dylan Ivey. Special entertainment was provided by R-S student, Jana Hunter and returning Queen, Jamie Autry. Also entertaining during the pageant were Kathyrn Wise and Lillian Peterson.

Madison Tart - Thomas R Sessoms Fund Award, for raising the most money towards the scholarship.
