The Hobbton Middle Wildcats hosted the Leopards of Roseboro-Salemburg Middle on Monday and won a solid 9-3 decision.

Hobbton coach Chuck Lively was proud of his team’s effort in the win. Mason Wilson was 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Kyle Feige was 2-4 with 2 runs scored, Gary Hall hit 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Will Simmons was 1-2 with 1 run and Chris Watkins rounded out with 2 base-on-balls.

Gage Herring went the distance on the mound for the Wildcats with 8 strike-outs.

The Wildcats play at home again Thursday hosting Union Middle. Game time is 4 PM.
