Shuronia Johnson recently received a Master Degree of Social Work in advanced clinical practice from Columbia University in Manhattan, New York, on May 18, 2016.

While attending Columbia, she served as the head Student Ambassador and named a Fellow in the Minority Fellowship Program-Youth of the Council of Social Work Education.

Shuronia is a 2007 graduate of Union High School where she was class valedictorian and a 2011 graduate from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She will be employed as a license clinical therapist/counseling at a local mental health agency for the city of New York.

Johnson is the daughter of Claude and Arrida Johnson of Clinton.
