Robert Noel Turlington received the European History Award during the year-end awards assembly at Woodberry Forest School. The award honors the school’s top European history student.
Noel, a sophomore, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Turlington, Jr., of Clinton, North Carolina, and the grandson of Jean Turlington of Clinton and the late Thomas Turlington.
Woodberry Forest School is a highly selective, independent boarding school in Madison County, Virginia, for 400 boys in grades 9-12 from thirty states, the District of Columbia, and seventeen other countries. Founded in 1889, it emphasizes an education based on intellectual thoroughness, moral integrity, and good sportsmanship.
