Retiree Tatum honored


Evelyn Tatum was honored for her dedicated service to Sampson County. She worked for the Department of Aging/Sampson Area Transportation from September 1995 to May 2016. At Monday’s Board of Commissioners meeting, chairman Billy Lockamy presented Tatum with a plaque in recognition of her years with the county. ‘I enjoyed it,’ Tatum said.
