College draws students

Admissions Week continues at Sampson Community College as counselors have seen a large influx of students coming in to prepare materials for fall registration, with more than 150 as of Friday. Admissions Week was designed to help students avoid waiting until the last minute to gather materials and paperwork such as financial aid, transcripts, applications and other documents. The college’s administration has been encouraging students to prepare early, particularly those who may not realize that there is more to an application that simply filling in one item. The event is being held on campus through Thursday, July 30. Call 910-592-8081 for more information.
