• July 29 — Jose Gabriel Olguin-Reyes, 18, of 1002 Cooper Road, Salemburg, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond set at $500; court date is Aug. 23.
• July 29 — Charles Frankie Long, 44, of 2001 Basstown Road, Clinton, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $500; court date is Aug. 16.
• July 29 — Raymond Wendell Thompson, 49, of 15 Payne St., Roseboro, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation and simple assault. No bond set; court date is Aug. 9.
• July 30 — Olga Martha Rodriguez, 25, of 2527 Big Piney Grove Road, Clinton, was charged with driving while impaired and served an order for arrest on a charge of failing to comply with monies. Bond set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 17.
• July 30 — Richard Alford Staton, 49, of 308 Lorraine Road, Clinton, was charged with communicating threats. Bond set at $500; court date is Aug. 24.
• July 30 — Rocky Carson Bullard, 25, of 105 Sampson Square Apts., 804 College St., Clinton, was charged with two counts of communicating threats. Bond set at $1,000; court date is Aug. 16.
• July 30 — Willie Amous Harris, 46, of 213 Forest Trail, Clinton, was charged on out-of-county warrants with unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Written promise; court date is Aug. 10.
• July 30 — Lathan Darnell Smith, 43, of 2819 Bombay Drive, Durham, was charged on out-of-county warrants with five counts of fraud-obtaining money/property by false pretense and served an order for arrest on a fraud charge and a failure to appear on a fraud and habitual felon charge. Bond set at $70,000; court date is Aug. 23.
• July 30 — Michael Jamal Oates, 24, of 55 Golden Lane, Garland, was charged with breaking and entering/non-force. Written promise; court date is Aug. 24.
• July 31 — Damien Terrell Rhodes, 27, of 445 Old Cotton Gin Road, Roseboro, was charged with assault on a female and failure to appear on charges of felony possession of marijuana, felony probation violation and resisting public officer. Bond set at $15,000; court date is Aug. 23.
• July 31 — Stormy Kincaid Ellis, 23, of 103 Murchinson Drive, Dunn, was charged on out-of-county warrants with communicating threats. No bond set; court date is Sept. 9.
• July 31 — Luis Alfredo Martinez, 29, of 1555 Keener Road, Clinton, was charged with driving while impaired and no operator’s license. Bond set at $1,000; court date is Aug. 17.
• July 31 — Antwan Romeo Rich, 22, of 596 Lakewood School Road, Salemburg, was charged with resisting public officer. Bond set at $250; court date is Aug. 22.
• July 31 — Jason Chestnutt Kivett, 39, of 3405 Prentice Ave., Columbia, S.C., was charged with driving while impaired and left of center. Bond set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 17.
Incidents/investigations
• July 30 — Johnnie Thornton of Newton Grove reported a break-in and theft from his residence. Two firearms — a shotgun and .22-caliber rifle — a TV, GPS device, cash, jewelry and other items were valued at $2,575.
• July 30 — Michael Jordan of Clinton reported a Clinton-area residence he owns was damaged extensively. Damage to three interior doors, walls, a gas heater, ceiling fan and exterior metal door was estimated at $1,800.
• July 31 — Claudia Sanchez reported damage to her Dodge Neon on Railroad Street
• July 31 — Lonnie Parker of Baltimore, Md., reported a vehicle was driven into the front of his storage building, inflicting $1,000 in damage.
