The cast of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, which numbers about 25 plus, has but one week for rehearsals before they face one of the finest audiences in eastern North Carolina on Friday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m. on the big stage of the Sampson Community Theater.
Come prepared to see and listen to a production that has no dialogue but plenty of songs and singing and a children’s ensemble that stays on the stage for a majority of the play. One family is well represented in this show. The Jackson family of Turkey has the parents, Tracy and Natalie, and their daughter, Lydia, in the show and their son, Lucas, plays the part of Joseph and his “coat-of-many -colors” while another son, Noah, is in charge of the sound.
We thank them for their involvement although it meant many late suppers during the rehearsals. “Joseph” is appropriate for all ages and moves rapidly from one scene to another that all can enjoy so get your tickets now at Inkspot, Matthew’s Gifts or at the box office on production days. We are grateful to Performance Dodge for sponsorship of this show.
