Area churches celebrating pastor anniversaries

On Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m., Together as One Community Unity Service is held at Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. Renewed of Clinton and Sensational Friendly Five of Bunnlevel is the musical guests for tonight.

On Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. (already in progress), Fall Revival is held at First Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro. The guest revivalist is Dr. Evenla Oliver of St. Jude Disciples of Christ, Warsaw. A guest choir will render the music.

On Oct. 6-9, the pastor’s anniversary for pastor R.T. Boykin and the Mount Calvary Holiness Church will be held with different speakers each night. Service is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m., Annual Homecoming / Family and Friend’s Day will be observed at First Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro. Pastor T. Oliver will minster the word and the combine choir will render the music. Dinner will be served following the morning service.

On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church on Odom Rd. Clinton, will observe their 133rd. Church Anniversary/Homecoming Harvest Celebration. Pastor Jeremy Jones will bring forth the morning message and the mass choir will render the music. Dinner will be served following the morning service. On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., An Old Fashion Homecoming will be observed at Holly Grove Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton. The pastor, Elder Terrell Powell will minister the word and the mass choir will render the music. Old Fashion dinner will be served following morning service.

On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., Annual Homecoming will be observed at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Keener. The guest messenger will be Dr. Hattie Lofton of Four Oaks. The Jones Tabernacle Choir will render the music. Dinner will be served following the morning service.

On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., Regular morning service will be held at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Valentino Bryant will minister the word, and the youth choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m., Regular morning service will be held At Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The guest messenger will be the Rev. Thaddus Godwin of Mt. Calvery Church, York, Pa. The youth choir will render the music.

On Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m., Minister Vivian Raynor and the Nursing home Ministry of Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have service at Mary Gran in Clinton.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m., Holy Tabernacle United Holy Church, Roseboro, will have Women’s Fellowship.

On Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8 a.m., First Missionary Baptist Church, Kenansville, will have a Prayer Breakfast.

On Sunday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., Ingold First Baptist Church, will celebrate their Annual Homecoming Service. The pastor, the Rev. Jerry L. Johnson will minister the word, and the senior choir will render the music. Dinner will be served following the morning service. At 3 p.m. the guest messenger will be the Rev. Bernard Hayes, choir and congregation of Southern Baptist Church.

On Sunday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., Point Level Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton, will celebrate their pastor’s anniversary, Dr. Dannie Robinson. The guest minister will be the Rev. Larry Holmes, choir and congregation of Cutts Chapel Church, Angier.

On Sunday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m., Annual Homecoming celebration will be held at Holy Tabernacle United Holy Church, Roseboro. The guest messenger will be pastor Joseph Moore, choir and congregation of Evergreen United Holy Church, Salemburg.

On Wednesday, Oct. 19-21 at 7:30 nightly, Homecoming Revival will be held at St. Jude United Holy Church, Clinton. The guest revivalist are: Wed. — The Rev. James Jackson of Turkey and combine choir; Thurs. — Elder Lena Clark, choir and congregation of Morning Star United Holy Church, Clinton; and Fri. — Elder Garry Jones, male chorus and congregation of Cedar Point Disciple Church, Newton Grove.

Robinson Chapel Missionary Church will be collecting, Can Goods, Toiletries, Water and Blankets for Louisiana Flooding Victims. Members are coming together to help those affected by the horrific floods in their time of need. Help us make a different in Louisiana, as we collect Goods to be a blessing.
