Arrests/citations

• Jan. 11 — Jeffrey Dale Thigpen, 44, of Pink Hill, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $8,500; court date is Jan. 13.

• Jan. 11 — William Shane Powell, 51, of 85 Birdy P Lane, Garland, was charged on out-of-county warrant with communicating threats. No bond set; court date is Feb. 17.

• Jan. 11 — Sylvia Festina Joyner, 53, of 318 Cranberry Lane, Clinton, was charged with injury to personal property and assault with a deadly weapon. Bond set at $500; court date is Feb. 7.

• Jan. 11 — Jairo Covarrubias, 24, of 110 Liberty Lane, Warsaw, was charged with cyberstalking. Bond set at $5,000; court date is Feb. 1.

• Jan. 11 — Grover Scott Brewer, 49, of 804 College St., Clinton, was charged with cyberstalking. Written promise; court date is Jan. 24.

• Jan. 12 — Kevin Jermaine Jean Kirby Jr., 17, of 354 Tarheel Drive, Clinton, was charged with simple possession of marijuana. No bond set; court date is Feb. 17.

• Jan. 12 — Ian Adam Norris, 21, of 3984 Five Bridge Road, Clinton, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond set; court date is Feb. 17.

• Jan. 12 — Mark Eugene Stennis, 29, of 410 Calvin St., Roseboro, was charged with second degree trespass. Bond set at $1,000; court date is Feb. 1.

• Jan. 12 — Bobby Allen Bryant, 35, of 892 Overland Road, Clinton, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond set; court date is Feb. 7

• Jan. 12 — Corey Alexander Parker, 22, of 44 Jenny Lane, Salemburg, was charged with two counts of communicating threats, assault on a government official, resisting public officer, possession of Schedule II controlled substance, injury to personal property and assault on a female. Bond set at $1,100; court date is Feb. 7.

Incidents/investigations

• Jan. 11 — Kendra Gainey of Clinton reported the theft of a 42-inch TV, microwave, safe, a ring and cash. Items were valued at $850.

• Jan. 12 — Phillip Merritt of Clinton reported the theft of several power tools, including two nail guns, a screw gun, saw gun and air compressor. Items were valued at $870.

• Jan. 12 — Wendy Jordan of Clinton reported the larceny of several items from her home. A refrigerator, stove and hot water heater were valued at a total of $1,200. Damage to a glass door was estimated at $200.
