ROSEBORO — An Autryville woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop Tuesday, according to Sampson sheriff’s authorities.

Marion Lacey Conner, 21, of 222 E. Williams St., Autryville, was charged with possession of methampheramine, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The 2004 Ford Mustang Conner was traveling in was stopped at the Sunoco gas station on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (N.C. 24) in Roseboro by Special Investigations Division agents at around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

“Agents with SID conducted a traffic stop on the suspect for a minor traffic violation on MLK Jr. Blvd in Roseboro,” Lt. Marcus Smith stated. “During the traffic stop probable cause to search the vehicle was established by agents and during the search methamphetamines and Percocet were found.”

According to reports, one-tenth of a gram of meth was seized along with one dosage unit of Percocet, a prescription painkiller.

Conner was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under $31,000 secured bond.
