With the auditions completed and the cast list arriving shortly, everyone
at the Sampson Community Theatre is preparing for the Les Miserables School Edition. Les Miserables is a musical adaptation of a novel written by Victor Hugo of the same name, our production takes the original musical and fits it for a high school cast.
Although it is a shortened version of Les Miserables, the story remains the same as do the present characters. In this production, all of the dialogue is sung and the plot is advanced through song, so there are very rich musical numbers and lots of opportunities for everyone to be recognized.
All of us here at the Sampson Community Theatre will be working very hard to put on an amazing show come April. This production is directed by Angela Martin and the production dates will be April 28-30 and May 5-7.
Our production is also sponsored by David H. Hobson, Attorney at Law.
