New Miss LHS to be crowned


The 2017 Miss Lakewood High School Scholarship pageant will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the LHS gymnasium. Reigning queen, Madelyn Elizabeth James, will crown her successor. Contestants are Kayla Matthews, Evelyn Hairr, Johnnah Hobbs and Emily Jackson. The theme for this year’s pageant is ‘Around the World.’ Tickets can be purchased at the door for $6 and local queens get in for free with crown and sash.
