SCC Event to motivate students


Director of Admissions Blair Hairr and Career Specialist Perry Gillespie assist students at the Career and College Promise Orientation at Sampson Community College this week, an event held for dual-enrolled high school students. The Career and College Promise (CCP) program provides high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to get a tuition-free jumpstart on a two-year or four-year degree while still in high school. Qualified students can earn college credit while still in high school. Students are dually enrolled in their high school and SCC allowing them to receive both high school and college credit for courses taken through the program. Regular Fall Registration for SCC classes will continue on August 12th and 13th. Call 592-8081 for more information.
