Lions Club presents scholarships


The Clinton Lions Club was pleased to have as their program Scott Phillips, Clinton’s New Fire Chief. Chief Phillips was very informative, telling of the departments goals and needs for the coming year. Pictured are Jim McGuire, club president, and Chief Phillips.


The Clinton Lions Club presented the Roland Heath Scholarship to Alicia Robinson who is a recent graduate of Hobbton High School. Alicia will be entering the fall semester at Winston-Salem State University where she plans to major in Business Administration. Pictured left to right is Clinton Lions Club Past President Steve Cox, Alicia Robinson, and Pamela McGuirt, the club’s scholarship committee chairperson.


The Clinton Lions Club presented the Street Richardson Scholarship to Conner Bass who is a recent graduate of Clinton High School. Conner will be entering the fall semester at N.C.
