On Nov. 6, 2015, Roseboro Salemburg Middle School students, teachers, and staff participated in College and Career Day. They dressed in their favorite college gear or in a career they were interested in. All students and staff were invited to attend a College Fair in the gym to learn about various colleges including admission requirements, cost of tuition, college majors, and campus activities.
During the College Fair, 18 colleges were represented by 30 RSMS student representatives. RSMS’s guidance counselor selected students to represent the colleges and Gemma Butler’s AVID students were responsible for creating the college boards and assisting the college representatives at the fair.
The purpose of the College and Career Day was to start the college and career conversation early for our students.
