Area churches continue with holiday services

On Wednesday, Dec. 2-4 at 7:30 p.m., a three night revival will be held at Ram In The Bush, Clinton. The guest speaker for the revival is Apostle Nicolas Worell of Goldsboro. Different choirs will render the music each night.

On Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m., a Prophetic Service will be held at The New Church of Christ, Faison. The guest speaker is prophet Michael Norris, choir and congregation of First Love Ministry, Raleigh.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m., Hanging of The Green Service will be held at Holly Grove Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The guest speaker, the Rev. James Lettett of Dunn, will minister the word, and the combine choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at St. Stephens Holiness Church, Turkey. The guest speaker, the Rev. David Marable of Clinton, will minister the word, and the adult choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Morning Star United Holy Church, Clinton. The guest speaker, the Rev. Jackie Barrieth, of LaGrange, will minister the word and the senior choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church, on Odom Road, Clinton, will have regular morning worship service. The guest messenger is the Rev. Michael Smith of Spring Lake.The mass choir will render the music. FMI call Deacon Tim Butler at 910-525-4944.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., Little Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, will have regular morning worship service. The Rev. Alice J. Boykin will minister the word and the youth choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11:30 a.m., Senior Citizen Christmas Dinner will be observed at Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey. Pastor Wendell Newton will minister the word, and the young-adult choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m., Choir Appreciation Day will be observed at First Baptist Church, Roseboro. Several choirs will participate on the program.

On Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. (doors open at 3 p.m.) LaManuel Boykin and Company will celebrate their 7th anniversary at Union Missionary Baptist Church on 2711 Princess Dr., Wilmington. On Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m., The Rev. Vivian Raynor and the Nursing Home Ministry of Brown’s Chapel Church will have service at Mary Gran, Clinton.

On Wednesday, Dec. 9-11 at 7 p.m., Preaching Anniversary of 20 years will be held for Apostle Blonny Aycock. Different guest speakers and musical groups each night.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m., a banquet will be held at the Clinton Civic Center. Several singing groups will participate on the program.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m., the closing of the service will be guest speaker Apostle Gwenolyn Gibbs, choir and congregation of Love Ministry, New Bern.

On Friday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m., service will be held at New Life Outreach Ministries, Clinton. Deacon Ronnie Blue and Deacon Porteal Thorpe will be giving encouraging words. The guest speaker is Apostle Peter Holloway of Ivanhoe.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m., Mingle Hill Disciples of Christ Church, Salemburg, will observe their Annual Christmas Program. A christmas play title Mr. String will be presented and written by Evangelist Tarlia Faircloth.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The guest messenger is the Rev. William Powell, Clinton. At 3 p.m their Annual Christmas Service will be observed. The theme is: Christmas-Past-Present-and Future.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, at 4 p.m., Pastor Jeffery White, mass choir, ushers and congregation of Brown’s Chapel Church will attend service at New Salam Church, Fayetteville.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16,-17-18 at 7:30 p.m., three night revival will be held at Ram In The Bush Church, Clinton. The guest speaker Apostle Keith Anderson, of Rocky Mount will minister the word and different choirs will render the music each night.
