Area churches hosting Christmas services

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m., Holly Grove Church, located at 1519 Indian Town Rd, Clinton, will hold the Children’s Christmas Musical program. It is a free event and refreshments will be served. FMI call 910-592-3219.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16-18 at 7:30 p.m., a three night revival will be held at Ram In The Bush Church, Clinton. The guest speaker Apostle Keith Anderson of Rocky Mount will minister the word and different choirs will render the music each night.

On Friday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m., a Prophetic Service will be held at The New Church of Christ, Faison. The guest speaker is Prophet Michael Norris of First Love Ministry, Raleigh.

On Saturday, Dec. 19, from 11 a.m. -1 p.m., a Pre-Christmas Dinner will be served for the food bag clients (eat in or take out) at the Friendly Community Center, Clinton. At 3 p.m., a Pre-Christmas fellowship and dinner will be observed, with guest speaker, pastor Julie Ross of Friendship Fellowship Outreach Center, Dunn. The theme: Fellowship One To Another. Praise and Worship:Brother McNeil and the Rev. Tommy Core. Inspirational Words: Pastor Ann Mosson. Different musical guests.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 11:30 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Greater Mt. Calvary Holiness Church, Clinton. Pastor Ruby T. Boykin will minister the word, and the combine choir will have their Annual Christmas program. Different musical guests. Fruit bags, gifts and door prizes will be given away.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m., Youth Day/Pre-Christmas Service will be observed at Running Branch Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton. The theme: What’s The Meaning Of Christmas. There will be a Christmas play and praise dancers. Pastor Calvin Deans will minister the word and the youth choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m, regular morning service will be held at Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church, on Odom Road, Clinton. The guest messenger is Elder Antonio Brown of Greenville. The mass choir will render the music. Following the morning service, there will be a “Pot Luck Lunch”. FMI call Deacon Tim Butler-910-525-4944.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 1:30 p.m., the Annual Christmas Program, following the morning service, will be held at Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. There will be a Christmas skit, fashion show, praise dancers, poems, and singing.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m., The New Church of Christ will observe their Annual Christmas Program. The youth will be in charge of the Christmas play and praise dance. Dinner will be served following the afternoon service.

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m., The First Missionary Baptist Church on 243 North Church St. Kenansville, will present A Christmas Play, Entitled: “A Christmas To Remember.”

On Sunday, Dec. 20, at 6 p.m., a Christmas service will be observed at the Friendly Community Center, Clinton. The theme: The Reason For The Season, Emmanuelle God With Us. Praise and Worship: Brother McNeil and Minister Mary Powell. Inspirational Words: Minister Renee Turner of New Testament Church, Fayetteville. On Friday, Dec. 25, from 8 a.m. until, Christmas Service will be hed at Littlefield Missionary Baptist Church, Newton Grove. Pastor Claudie Morrisey will minister the word, and the combine choir will render the music. The Rev. On Friday, Dec. 25, at 7 p.m., New Life Outreach Ministries will have a Youth Night. Christmas play to be presented.

On Dec. 26, at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4:30 p.m), Big Time Production presents: Christmas with The Alabama Gurlz, 114 Wilson St. at Stewart Theatre, Dunn. There will be several musical guests on the program. FMI call 910-916-8514.
