The Sampson Community College Foundation is honored to announce that over $103,000 in scholarships has been awarded for the 2015-2016 year.

The Mary Teachey Moore Education Scholarship has been established in loving memory of Mary Moore, by her mother, Lorraine Moore. The scholarship assists a student who has overcome personal challenges and is pursuing a degree and a career in education. The Moore family owns and operates Ivanhoe Blueberries and has a long history of commitment to education in Sampson County.

With a variety of scholarships, all SCC students are encouraged to apply by visiting www.sampsoncc.edu. The deadline for the 2016-2017 year is April 15, 2016. If you would like more information about how to donate to the Foundation to fund student scholarships and assist with student programs, call Foundation Executive Director, Lisa Turlington at 910-592-8081.
