Students earn scholarships at SCC

The Sampson Community College Foundation is honored to announce that over $103,000 in scholarships has been awarded for the 2015-2016 year.

Ashton Odum was presented the Robert E. Williams Memorial Scholarship; Karen Neri-Gonzalez was the recipient of the Tammy Irene Pickett scholarship, which was established by friends and employees of Matthews Cards and Gifts; Danielle Powers received the Mossette Butler Scholarship; and Maricela Toribio Torres was the recipient of the John and Amelia Surratt Scholarship.

With a variety of scholarships, all SCC students are encouraged to apply by visiting www.sampsoncc.edu. The deadline for the 2016-2017 year is April 15th, 2016.
