Revival services begin at area churches

On Wednesday, Jan. 13-14 at 7:30 p.m., a two night revival will be held at Ram In The Bush Church, Clinton. The guest speaker for both nights is Pastor Nicolas Worrell, choir and congregation of Goldsboro.

On Friday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m., New Life Outreach Ministries, Clinton, will have a Ministorial Service. The speakers will be Sister Mary Moore and Gloria Wallace, of Clinton. The church choir will render the music. Come out and lets have a good time in the Lord.

On Saturday, Jan. 16, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., The Friendly Trio and Church Association will distribute food bags at the Friendly Community Center in Clinton. All are welcome. FMI call Brother Charles Strickland at 910-590-4925.

On Saturday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m., Power To Praise Gospel Fest 2016 will be held at the Friendly Community Center, 75 Hanson Rd., Clinton, featuring many groups and more. Tickets available. On Sunday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m., regular morning service will be held at Big Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The Rev. James A. Mitchell will minister the word and the fellowship choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Jan. 17, at 10:45 a.m., attention all women, you are cordially invited to join us for our Annual Women’s Day Celebration, held at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. On Monday, Jan. 18, at noon, The Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Luncheon will be held at the Sampson Agri-Civic Center, Clinton. There will be a Skit, Luncheon and Blood Drive. On Saturday, Jan. 23, at 5 p.m. MLMANN Production presents A Saturday Night Out With Pastor Michael McLamb. Celebrating 32 years of Ministorial Services. Different musical guests. The service will be held at the Western Assembly Headquarters on Hwy 701 Newton Grove.

On Sunday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m., the Rev. Harold Jr. Boykin will be celebrating his 17th Pastoral Anniversary at First Missionary Baptist Church, Bowden. The guest speaker is Pastor Corbett, choir and congregation of St. Peter’s Holiness Church, Warsaw. Dinner will be served following the morning service. At 3 p.m. The guest speaker is the Rev. Willie Bowden Sr.choir and congregation of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, Clinton.

The first Sunday in February, will be six years that the Rev. Thomas R. Farrow, Jr. has been serving here at First Baptist Church as Pastor. 1st. Timothy 5:17 says, Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. We look forward to this time of celebration as we show appreciation for what God has given us in the form of a Pastor. This year we will have two evening of worship and fellowship.
