Arrests/citations

• Feb. 18 — Joshua Allen Childress, 28, of 10941 Old Mintz Hwy., Garland, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond set; court date is Feb. 23.

• Feb. 19 — Tyler Martin Banks, 25, of 1436 Bland School Road, Harrells, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $1,000; court date is March 17.

• Feb. 19 — Lucas Timothy Torres, 19, of 4582 Beaver Blvd., Sherrills Ford, N.C., was charged with injury to real property. Bond set at $500; court date is April 12.

• Feb. 19 — Buddy Tyler Scott, 18, of 4582 Beaver Blvd., Sherrills Ford, N.C., was charged with injury to real property. Bond set at $500; court date is April 12.

• Feb. 19 — Jamaris Nagee Pridgen, 18, of 1489 Bland School Road, Harrells, was charged with communicating threats, simple assault and injury to personal property. Bond set at $1,500; court date is March 22.

• Feb. 19 — Brent Douglas Stone, 18, of 288 Lindsay Farm Lane, Clinton, was charged with two counts of larceny and possession of stolen property. Bond set at $10,000; court date is Feb. 26.

• Feb. 19 — Jenny Elizabeth Helfer, 17, of 6123 Earp Court, Hope Mills, was charged with resisting public officer. Bond set at $5,000; court date is April 12.

• Feb. 20 — Andre Pope, 31, of Lot 3, Payne St., Roseboro, was charged with trespassing. Bond set at $150; court date is March 16.

• Feb. 20 — Terry Nicholas Herring, 29, of 11785 Harnett Dunn Highway, Dunn, was charged with simple assault. No bond set; court date is Feb. 23.

• Feb. 20 — Dimitri Davis, 21, of 137 Lucille Lane, Clinton, was charged with simple assault. No bond set; court date is March 10.

• Feb. 21 — Antonio Plata Ponce, 32, of 115 Carolina Ave., Clinton, was charged with assault on a government official, resisting a public officer and domestic violence protective order violation. Bond set at $1,500; court date is March 8.

• Feb. 21 — Cometria Highsmith, 26, of 652 Wilbur Pridgen Road, Ivanhoe, was charged with simple physical assault. Bond set at $500; court date is March 8.

• Feb. 21 — James Tate Renfrow, 60, of 603 Renfrow Road, Clinton, was charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. No bond set; court date is March 15.

• Feb. 21 — Ellizabeth Christina Lynn Herring, 26, of 11785 Harnett-Dunn Hwy., Dunn, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $150; court date is March 15.

• Feb. 21 — Beneatrice Dianna Young, 31, of 116 Live Oak Drive, Raeford, was charged on out-of-county warrants with communicating threats and simple non-physical assault. Bond set at $1,000; court date is March 15.

• Feb. 21 — Justin Daniel Vernon, 24, of 408 E. Powell St., Clinton, was charged with communicating threats. No bond set; court date is March 8.

Incidents/investigations

• Feb. 19 — Herring Volunteer Fire Department reported a Motorola XTS 2500 radio, valued at $3,500, stolen from the Sampson Crossing parking lot.

• Feb. 20 — Jeremy Robinson of Godwin reported a 65-inch Vizio TV, valued at $400, and an Xbox 360, valued at $200, stolen from his residence.
