Students from Roseboro Salemburg Middle School took an educational and fun trip to William Peace University in Raleigh May 5. Students from the seventh grade were given the opportunity to visit the college.
While on the campus, students toured the university’s library, student dorms, cafeteria, gymnasium, administration building, chapel and classroom buildings.
The teachers of Roseboro Salemburg Middle School, as well as guidance counselors, plan trips to local colleges to expose their students to college life early. They do this in hopes of encouraging the students to start thinking about where they want to go to college as well as various majors they have to choose from at eah college.
