Local middle and high school students placed in the Sampson County Chapter NC A&T Alumni Association’s 2016 Black History Month poster contest. Angel Banages placed first, Mitzy Aguayo placed second and Brandon Jacinto placed third in the middle school division. Margarita Ferrer placed first, Kevin Palacios placed second and Shinika Bronson placed third in the high school division.
