A group participated in Sampson Community College’s Small Business Start-Up series offered twice annually at the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College. Seven seminars included in the series are How To Start a Small Business, How To Write A Business Plan, How To Market Your Business, Financing Your Business, How To Find Customers, Business Taxes and The Basics of Bookkeeping. These core sessions have been designed specifically to meet the immediate needs of a person looking to start a small business or for those that are also just entering into the world of being a business owner. Steve Carver, Owner/Operator of Fast Forward Services was the presenter. He brings over 40 years of business experience and personal know-how to the conversation. Carver works tirelessly to challenge participants into understanding the realities of owning a small business.
