Tom Wilbur, the director of “I Ought To Be In Pictures,” can finally give his cast some rest after six weeks of rehearsals and six performances of the Neil Simon comedy-drama in which Kevin Kiernan, Erica Miller, and Catherine Smith illustrated what happens when you mix talent with desire and get flawless performances.

Many thanks to Tom, Erica, Kevin and Catherine for a job well done and to Bobby Martin, the owner and operator of The Florist and Antiques of Warsaw, who proudly sponsored this production.

Auditions for “Cats” will be this Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, April 26, at 6 p.m. Needed are adult, college age and teenage singers and dancers. If you are seeking a major role come prepared to sing a solo. A CD player will be provided. Children will have very minor roles. Bring your tap shoes if you have them. Performances will be eight shows scheduled for late June.

The theater is very proud to announce that two of the young ladies that have graced our big stage frequently have been further honored. Isabelle Moore has been selected to attend the Jofferey School of Musical Theater Program in New York City this summer and Sarah Day was selected to attend the Governors School as a student in theater for this summer. Both of these ladies are members of Angela’s Musical Troupe, are great students and are very deserving of these honors. We hope to see them on our stage again after they learn a lot this summer.

All patrons are asked to show up for the Patron Appreciation Event Saturday, April 23, at 8 p.m. where all valid patrons and a guest will be admitted free for a Las Vegas type show which will be taped to submit as an audition tape for potential entertainment on a cruise ship over the summer by Taylor Michaels and which will be a mix of music and magic. Non patrons will be able to attend also if seating is available.

Patron Sponsor tickets are available by calling Brenda Martin at 990-4510. These tickets allow two people to attend every show we produce and get their name or the name of their business included in every program at a reduced rate.

Thoughts until next week:

When in doubt, go for a walk.

You can only change yourself. Not other people, not relationships, just you. If you want to change anything-including the world – start with yourself.

Be here. Now. Don’t rob yourself of living today because you’re lost in yesterday or leaning into tomorrow.
