Students in Lana McLamb’s class at Midway Elementary School are pictured displaying their hanging baskets following a time of garden therapy. Students planted each hanging basket with assorted annuals while receiving guidance from members of the Just-A-Mere Garden Club. While at school, the students cared for the baskets until being taken home on Mother’s Day weekend. At that time, the baskets were then presented to their moms. Garden therapy was also done with two classes at Midway Middle School. A total of 17 hanging baskets were made by students at the two schools. Pictured above are Midway Elementary students Ashley Williams, Brayden Jackson, Samantha Tyndall, Dayanara Monroy Molina, Joshua Jacobs, and Migual Williams.
