On May 11, the Clinton High School FFA traveled to the University of Mount Olive to compete in the Southeast Region Rally CDEs, and brought home several first, second and third place honors.

An Introduction to Horticulture CDE team, Agricultural Mechanics CDE team, Talent CDE and Prepared Public Speaking CDE participated in the event. This year Clinton’s FFA placed 2nd in the Southeast FFA Region in Introduction to Horticulture and Prepared Public Speaking; the Agricultural Mechanics team placed 1st in the Goshen Federation. Both the Introduction to Horticulture and Prepared Public Speaking CDE advanced to the NC State FFA Convention in Raleigh, June 21-23.

Thomas Paniagua placed 2nd in the region for prepared public speaking.

Poultry Evaluation — 2nd in the region and 2nd in the Goshen federation

Land Judging Sr. — 3rd in the region and 2nd in the Goshen Federation

Land Judging Jr. — 2nd in the region and 2nd in the Goshen Federation
