Golden Heroes Day — on Thursday, Sept. 11, Newton Grove McDonalds will have a special day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in which any current fire, EMS, police, or military personnel wearing a uniform or presenting an ID will receive a free value meal. Several agencies, including Sampson EMS, Newton Grove fire and rescue, NG PD, State Highway Patrol, and Sampson Sheriffs Office, will have a unit present, including Sampson’s mobile command center.
