The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with the Sampson County Exposition Center to continue to grow the Business Showcase. This year, on Thursday, Sept. 10, we look forward to connecting business to business, as we invite the community to set up a booth highlighting their business or organization within Sampson County.

Last year, the business showcase was held at CenturyLink in downtown Clinton. After rave reviews from last year’s event and the request to make it larger and more prominent within the community, we look forward to this year’s event. We look forward to establishing partnerships to ensure the growth and success of this event. Partnerships with the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College to offer free seminars prior to the event to participating businesses highlighting showcase displays and marketing with the goal to equip each vendor with the knowledge and tools to ensure participating in this event gives them more exposure and grows their customer base. Other partnerships include the Sampson County Convention and Visitors Bureau to attract outside visitors to give vendors the most exposure possible.

The day will begin with a ticketed lunch featuring a speaker and topic centered on the business community. The showcase will open early afternoon until that evening. We are excited to once again partner with CenturyLink as they will close the evening with a Business After Hours networking opportunity in conjunction with the showcase for chamber members.

Again, we look forward to offering this event to the community as we connect businesses to businesses. While Chamber members will receive a reduced booth rental, we invite Chamber and non-Chamber members to participate in this event. This event will be open to the public. We look forward to launching the registration for the booth spaces in June.

There are many exciting things taking place within the community and within the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the Business Showcase, I encourage you to learn more about the young professionals of Sampson County and the other opportunities provided through the Chamber.
