The Sampson County Board of Commissioners recently appointed Donna Williams of Temporary Connections, Inc., to the Triangle South Workforce Development Board (TSWDB) as a private sector representative.
The TSWDB is a partnership of business leaders and public organizations committed to the economic development of Chatham, Harnett, Lee and Sampson counties.
The development board envisions an efficient labor market that offers well-paying jobs for area residents, provides a well-educated and well-trained workforce for area employers and attracts new businesses and facilitates economic development.
Williams has been secretary-treasurer of Temporary Connections, Inc. for nine years and is a native of Sampson County. She is also a member of the Clinton-Sampson Rotary Club.
