Chamber prepares to begin coat project

Happy Thursday Chamber friends! The Chamber has some exciting news to share! Cycle NC is coming to Clinton, yes Clinton! Cyclist will begin in the mountains and ride all the way to the coast, and make a pit stop in Clinton on Oct. 6 at the Expo Center.

The 2016 Annual Coat Closet is getting ready to gear up pretty soon. This will be the seventh year of this signature project. The Chamber Coat Closet’s goal is to meet the needs of families who are not financially able to afford coats for themselves and their children.

The Chamber Coat Closet is a committee run by Chamber members that volunteer to assist in this project.

Join us this Monday, Aug. 1, to celebrate our Member of the Week, Matthews Health Mart. We will take this time to celebrate the success of Matthews Heath Mart and learn a little about their history, and most importantly we will engage with other members of the community. Come on out at 10:30 a.m. to 408 Northeast Blvd. in Clinton.

If you have any questions about becoming a member of the Chamber then I encourage you to come out to one of our events. Contact us with any questions at 910-592-6177 or email us at [email protected]
