December is here and it is flying by already. I have almost been at the Chamber for a full year and I must say that I am blessed with one of the best jobs. I love this community that I have called home for 24 years and to be able to help and watch it grow has been joyful.

Please join us Monday while we celebrate the Member of the Week, the Sampson County Diaper Bank. The Diaper Bank truly helps provide to those in need and Sampson County is grateful for this organization. Come out on Monday at 10:30 a.m. to The Vine Fellowship Church at 1719 Southeast Blvd., Clinton to help us celebrate this organization.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and to all of those who gave new or gently used coats to our Coat Closet Project. You all have truly helped us give the gift of warmth this winter season.

Join us this Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. for our Christmas in Clinton Parade. This parade is truly a staple to our county and is always exciting to watch. Come out early and enjoy breakfast in one of our local restaurants or stay afterwards to visit Santa or finish up your last gifts on your Christmas list.

Join us Monday, Jan. 16 to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther Kind Jr. Come out and celebrate the man who changed so much for our American history at noon at the Sampson County Agri Expo Center at 414 Warsaw Road in Clinton. This event is free and there is no registration so we hope to see you there.

For any information about the Chamber or how we can work for you please give us a call at 910-592-6177 or email us at [email protected]. Don’t forget to shop local this holiday season.
