Isaiah 53:5 says “ But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes “we” are healed.” Because of what Jesus did on the cross through this verse gives every blood washed, born again believer, access to healing. By “faith” we are to live and walk in this verse each and every day.

In spite of how you are feeling and how your situation is looking at the current moment, the word of God is greater than your feelings and situation. If you start confessing this verse by “faith” you will start possessing what’s within it. There is healing of the body, healing of the mind, healing of the soul all within this verse. Jesus did not go half way to the cross, he went all the way, which means he desires that you be healed totally. God is moved by your “faith” in him and his word. True “peace of mind” comes from trusting in Jesus and his promises.

Stop looking at your problems and focus on your promises made available by the cross. Jesus has not forsaken you nor his words towards you. Jesus over two thousand years ago knew you would need a breakthrough so he broke down and humble himself and went to the cross for you and I.

That’s why if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior according to the Bible you can confess Isaiah 53:5 and possess all that comes within it. Saints of God learn the Bible and quote God’s word over your problems and believe the impossible.
