Arrests/citations

• June 21 — Jeffrey Chase King, 17, of 3286 Preacher Henry Road, Faison, was charged with simple physical assault on a female and communicating threats. No bond set; court date is July 25.

• June 21 — Patrick Matthew Burnette, 34, of 55 Papa Moo Lane, Dunn, was charged with assault on a female. No bond set; court date is Aug. 16.

• June 21 — Roland Johnson Sr., 73, of 285 Isaac Weeks Road, Clinton, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $300; court date is July 14.

• June 21 — Rashanaye Dominique Franks, 24, of 316 Jacobs St., Apt. B, Clinton, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 5.

• June 21 — Latonya Renna Monroe, 36, of 116 Rainbow Lane, Clinton, was charged with simple assault. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 5.

• June 21 — Reginald Antwan Smith, 39, of 265 Hunt Lane, Clinton, was charged with communicating threats. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 5.

• June 21 — Donna Michelle Smith, 40, of 265 Hunt Lane, Clinton, was charged with simple assault and communicating threats. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 5.

• June 21 — Michael John Oneal, 21, of 2673 Bradshaw Road, Clinton, was charged with injury to personal property. Bond set at $2,500; court date is Aug. 16.

Incidents/investigations

• June 21 — John Murphy of Rose Hill reported the theft of a zero-turn lawnmower, valued at $3,900.

• June 21 — John Jones of Clinton reported the theft of two 12-gauge shotguns, valued at $800, and .22 Ruger handgun, valued at $300.

• June 21 — Kaitlin Tew of Newton Grove reported a break-in and theft of two TVs and a weed-eater, valued at a total of $1,400. Damage to a door and frame was estimated at $1,200.

• June 21 — Everette Hefner Sr. of Dunn reported the theft of an electric welder, valued at $800, and welder stand, valued at $100. An oxygen tank, owned by Machine and Welding of Dunn, was also stolen. It was valued at $200.

• June 21 — Phyllis Kornegay of Clinton reported the larceny of a cell phone, purse and cash from her vehicle. Items valued at $855.

• June 21 — Matthew Parker of Clinton reported a laptop computer, valued at $600, stolen from his vehicle.
