June 29 — William B. Jones, 27, of Faison, was charged with felony burglary, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods and property. Bond set at $15,000; court date is July 17.
June 29 — Nicole B. Brown, 30, of Newton Grove, was charged one count of simple assault. No Bond set; court date is July 24.
June 29 — Charles C. Smith, 49, of Elizabethtown, was charged with driving while impaired. Bond set at $1,500; court date is July 13.
June 29 — Orly Maldonado of Clinton was the victim of theft which occurred at service station on Church Road, Clinton. According to reports, the property stolen included an automobile, tire machine, tire balancer and two forklifts. The property was valued $22,000.
June 29 — Bryant Lewis of Tukey reported vandalism to an open land area in Turkey. The criminal damage occurred by driving over planted corn and damaging it. The property was valued at $500.
June 29 — Willie G. Wrench of Godwin was the victim of an automobile theft, which occurred at his home on Wrench Road, Godwin. The value of vehicle was $28,000 and was described as a 2004 white, four-door Chevrolet Silverado. Wrench also reported burglary-forcible entry and damage to his door, which was valued at $150. The incidents are under investigation.
