Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have their Annual Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. Pastor Rev. Jeffrey White will bring forth the morning message at 11 a.m. and the senior choir will render the music. The guest speaker for that afternoon will be Pastor W.C. Marable, and Star of Bethlehem Church of Fairmont, N.C. Bring your family and friends and lets have a good time in the Lord.


The Original Freewill Baptist Home Mission convention will convene at Union Star F.W.B. Church, 305 W. Morrisey Blvd. Clinton, Friday, Oct. 4-5 at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Pastor Patricia Peterson, choir, ushers of Joy of Praise Church of Warsaw will be the guest speaker for the evening. Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. closing message will be by our vice president, Eldress Cynthis Warrells of Goldsboro. All are invited to these services.


Union Star F.W.B. Church of Clinton will have regular morning service, Sunday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. Pastor Bishop James Leftdwige will deliver the message and senior choir will render the music. Homecoming Service will be held at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder James Collins, with his choir, ushers and congregation of Goldsboro F.W.B. Church, of Goldsboro. Come and let us rejoice in the Lord together.


Mingle Hill Disciples of Christ Church of Salemburg, will have their annual Homecoming Services Sunday, Oct. 6,with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Morning worship at 11 a.m. The Pastor, Elder Eddie Parker will deliver the morning message and the senior choir will render the music. Lunch will be served. Afternoon will begin at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Elder Terrell Powell and the Holy Grove Disciples of Christ Church Family of Clinton. Everyone is welcome to attend.


It’s revival time at St. Stephens Holiness Church of Turkey, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Minister Takevia Underwood, choir and congregation of Ram In The Bush Church of Clinton. On Thursday Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. the guest speaker is the Rev. James Jackson, and gospel choir of Six Run Church of Clinton. Friday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m., the guest speaker is the Rev. Parker, and choir of St. Stephens A.M.E. Church of Warsaw.


On Sunday, Oct 6, the annual Homecoming will be held at St. Stephens Holiness Church, Turkey. A 11 a.m., the Rev. Willie Bryant will bring forth the message, and the senior choir will render the music. Lunch will be served following the morning service. At 3:30 p.m. guest speaker is the Rev. Anthony Flow, choir and congregation, of Saint Luke Church of Rose Hill. Everyone is invited.


Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro, will celebrate their Annual Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. At 11 a.m. Pastor S.E. Bryant will bring forth the morning message and the senior choir will render the music. Lunch will be served following the morning service.Guest speaker for the afternoon will be the Rev. Gerald Underwood of Andrew Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, accompanied by the choir, ushers, and congregation. Everyone is welcome.


Regular morning worship service will be held at Little Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Alice Jean Boykin will bring forth the morning message accompanied by the youth choir. At 3 p.m. the youth and junior choir will celebrate their 6th anniversary. There will be several choirs appearing on the program. The host pastor is the Rev. Harold Boykin Jr. The public is cordially invited to lift up the name of Jesus.


A musical gospel service will be held Sunday, Oct 6 at 4 p.m. at the Friendly Community Center, 421 Hanson Road, Clinton. Hosted by: Evangelist Neil Thompson Jr. The theme is: Signing for Jesus, Devotion and Inspiration Words. On the program will be Minister Douglas Barnhill — B.V. The House of Prayer, of Faison will have regular service Sunday night Oct. 6. at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Eldress Velma McKinley. Everyone is invited.
